Benefits of Avocados

Avocados are a  type of Monounsaturated Fat. They are considered heart-healthy and should be eaten regulary.
Other Monounsaturated foods are olives, olive oil, nuts, seeds, mackerel, vegetables high in oleic-acid. They all help to raise good HDL and Lower LDL.

Here is a quick, healthy snack recipe to enjoy avocados:

  1. 2 organic Avocados
  2. 1/2  organic red onion
  3. 1 organic Tomato
  4. A handful of cilantro
  5. 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  6. A dash of Himalayan salt
  7. A dash of Lime

Optional (Add red, yellow or green bell peppers)

Mix everything together and enjoy!!!
